Our Mission & Values
Our Mission
Alsen Pride Lodge No. 253 is a Prince Hall Masonic organization founded in 1946. We build character through mentorship, empower youth through direct service, and transform our community through three core principles: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
Striving in Excellence, Serving with Pride!
The Three Pillars
Brotherly Love
We regard the whole human species as one family: the high, the low, the rich, the poor. We aid, support, and protect each other. Freemasonry unites men of every country, sect, and opinion, and conciliates true friendship among those who might otherwise have remained at a perpetual distance. In Alsen Pride Lodge No. 253, this means direct support for our brothers — financial aid during hardship, mentorship for life’s challenges, and visible solidarity in our community.
Relief
To relieve the distressed is a duty incumbent on all men, but particularly on Freemasons, who are linked together by an indissoluble chain of sincere affection. We soothe the unhappy, sympathize in their misfortunes, and restore peace to their troubled minds. We live this through Project Silk & Silhouette, community service days, and direct support to families in need. Relief is not abstract — it is measurable impact.
Truth
Truth is a divine attribute and the foundation of every virtue. To be good men and true is the first lesson we are taught in Masonry. By this theme we contemplate, and by its dictates we endeavor to regulate our conduct. In our lodge, this means transparency in operations, honesty in communications, and integrity in all dealings with our members and community.
